Gwendolyn the Snapping turtle

Gwendolyn, so named by the neighborhood people where she came from after years of them seeing her come up to bask and lay her eggs, was found hit by a car last all and brought in with two pretty bad cracks in her carapace. She spent the fall and winter with us and recovered really well. On March 19th, 2012 she was released back to her lake. A very happy Gwendolyn I'm sure.
